Charger Sailing
In our program we have the Norlin MkIII 2.4mR sailboat and the Oslo dinghy and last but not least the IOD 95 optimists are not produced in big numbers anymore but still available as special orders for those who want a high quality top Optimist dinghy.
After 3 years of development work, testing and brainstorming we have now developed the best production 2.4mR ever built.
Our current Norlin MkIII is an off-the-shelf championship contender that needs no tuning or optimizing to be competitive with any boat out there.
Every boat is identical in shape and weight with maximum keel ballast. While improving the performance we never forget strength and durability, so not only is our boat competitive, it will be so for many years.
The Optischool has the same hull as the IOD95 but self bilging. It has flotation chambers instead of balloons and is very easy to clean and maintain.It is the ideal boat for sailing schools and recreational optimist sailing.
The Oslo dinghy is a 5.5 meter dinghy with a mainsail and a small jib that was very popular as a wooden boat in the 50’s. We are going to build a fiberglass hull with a beautiful wooden deck and interior - she will be a true retro classic.
Our Oslo Sailing dinghy will be introduced during the Helsinki boat show February 2009.
